Island Rose CEO represented country at the recent Asian Productivity Organization
The internet has revolutionized communication worldwide. Undoubtedly, it has opened a wide opportunity for marketers to sell their products and services. The Asian Productivity Organization held the Training Course on e-Marketing of Agricultural Products in Seoul, Korea this past March 15 – 19. Around 30 participants from across Asia including The Republic of China, India, Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Japan, Republic of Korea, Philippines, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam took part in this five-day event. If you thought that e-commerce has not caught on in the Philippines, think again. Island Rose, one of the country’s top Internet retailers bagged an Agora Award last November 24, 2008. The ceremonies were held at the Hotel Intercontinental where the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) gave out prestigious Agora Awards to the most exceptional achievers in the Philippine Marketing scene.
The Agora Award is given to outstanding individuals and companies who pass a stringent judging process through a panel composed of top-level executives of leading Philippine corporations and institutions.
